The Holy Spirit In The Life Of The Believer

First and foremost, we must establish that the Holy Spirit is not an ‘It’. Who is He? The Holy Spirit is God. The Holy Spirit is not just from God and not just like God. Depending upon your background you may say, The Holy Ghost or The Holy Spirit. You can praise Him. You can praise Him the same way that you praise Jesus. Benny Henn is a great writer and an awesome man of God. He was my mom’s favorite Televangelist. Years ago, he wrote a book called, ‘Good Morning Holy Spirit’. So, when you wake up each day say, Good Morning Holy Spirit. God is not three people. He is one God in 3 ways. He is: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. The whole of the God-head is in-bodied in the Holy Spirit. Paul says in 2 Corinthians 4:7, “But we have this treasure in earthen vessels.” Treasure is a synonym of the Holy Spirit. We have this Holy Ghost in us (Earthen Vessels). The word vessel has to do with clay. To further break this down into this day and time, we have this bling-bling in some mud. Declare: There is some treasure in me and His name is the Holy Ghost!You cannot Kill What God has Anointed to Live! Your Family, marriage and life are still together because of the Holy Ghost inside of you! None of your children will go down the road that you and your spouse went through. He has broken every generational curse. No one is going to jail and there will be no more babies born out of wedlock. Your children will prosper in everything that they do in life because of this bling bling ring inside of you called the Holy Ghost. Declare: I’ll make it because of the God in Me! The Holy Spirit is God in you for the purpose of conducting and handling Kingdom Business. People ask me how in the world do you do what you do? My answer is: I don’t, but the Holy Spirit does it through me. I’m just a vessel. There are some things that you have to get done and you cannot do it in your strength. For instance, you need the Holy Spirit to help you to become a Godly parent. Once you become a parent, you will realize that your child (ren) don’t think like your generation. If you’re not careful then you will want to go postal. I have a friend of mine that tells me, “The Lord blessed me and you with grandchildren because we didn’t kill our children.” Also, you need the Holy Spirit to hold your marriage together. For some married couples, there will be some nights that you may not want to talk to each other. I tell people all the time that once you have been married a while then sex will not be 100% of the marriage. You will find out quick, fast and in a hurry that it will take three people to make the marriage work and the 3rd person is the Holy Spirit. You need the Holy Spirit to become a successful single.
